Great Expectations (for this Blog)

My name is Ashley. I just finished my undergrad at JMU, where I got degrees in public relations and journalism, and I just moved to RVA. I love french fries, car trips and hammocks.

I created this blog as a way to share my interest in reading (and love of puns- Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Ha). I'll be writing reviews of books I'm reading, sharing news about authors and upcoming books, why people who read are awesome and anything else remotely book-related that I find interesting.

I tend to favor fiction, fantasy, young adult, biographies and dystopian-themed books, so you'll find my blog will be shaped from those preferences, although I'm always looking to get out of my comfort zone, so feel free to leave me recommendations. I'd also love to hear what you think of what I'm sharing, so leave me your opinions and questions.
